Whoopi Goldberg is well known for her trademark dreadlocks and hip yet compassionate style.
Goldberg's on screen debut came in 1985 in the controversial film "The Color Purple". Soon after she earned box office and Oscar success in "Ghost". Since then she has appeared in numerous films and televisons shows such as "Jumpin Jack Flash", "The Long Walk Home", "Made in America", "Sister Act", "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit", and "Star Trek: The Next Generation."
Whoopi also made a name for herself with her appearance on numerous HBO specials including "Comic Relief" and as a star and executive producer of the television series "Hollywood Squares".
She is one of a few individuals who have won an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, and Grammy.
