Tony Danza has been coming into our living rooms for years. But, before his acting days, Danza took part in the "Sweet Science".
From 1976-1979, Tony Danza was a professional boxer with a 9-3 record; all nine wins coming by way of TKO.
However, his role as a regular actor on the TV sitcom "Taxi" KO'd his boxing career. He is best known for his appearance on "Taxi", as well as those on "Who's the Boss?".
Danza starred on other sitcoms such as "Hudson Street" in 1995 and "The Tony Danza Show" in 1997. From 2002-2002 he had a role on "Family Law," a TV drama. His guest-starring role in 1998 for TV series "The Practice" led to his nomination for an Emmy Award.
In 1980 he made his movie debut in the comedy "The Hollywood Knights", followed by "Going Ape!" in 1981. Danza hosted his own TV talk show which aired live from New York each weekday morning.
