Tommy Chong is best known for his role as Chong of the comedy duo Cheech and Chong.

After Cheech and Chong had a successful run together, both embarked on solo careers. Chong appeared in several films including 1990's "Far Out, Man!". Chong wrote, directed, starred and composed songs for the story of a 60s hippie who comes out of hiding and rediscovers his family.

Chong has also done guest shots, memorably as a well-cast old friend on "The George Carlin Show". Semi-retired for much of the 90s, he returned to the screen for a role in "National Lampoon's Senior Trip". Chong also had a recurring role on the popular  sitcom "That '70s Show".
