Ted Carpenter is a force to be reckoned with in the world of the entertainment business.

Ted started his stand up career in 1988. In 1991, Carpenter appeared on the original Def Comedy Jam and received one of the highest rated performances to date. He appeared on Def Comedy Jam a total of three times. 

After Def Comedy Jam, Ted began touring and performing with some of the hottest comics of today such as Bernie Mac, DL Hughley, Steve Harvey, Cheryl Underwood, and Adele Givens.

Ted was also a recurring guest host for the late night show Later on NBC.
