Rudy Rush uses his blend of Northern and Southern expressions, in order to give his audiences a unique style of comedy.

He as been twice nominated by the Black Comedy Awards as New Comedian of the Year, blends inter-city hip-hop with southern witticisms, breaking the stereotype of vulgarity.

Rush has appeared on the Apollo Comedy Hour and the Def Comedy Jam's All Star Season. He has been featured on the Snap Album, a comedy album which generated three books.
