O'Donnell is a brazen, unabashed comedienne, talk-show host and actress.

In 1984, Rosie got her big break when she was noticed by Ed McMahon's daughter, who got Rosie on Star Search, which was Rosie's first TV appearance.

In 1996, "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" aired. The show won a number of Emmys. O'Donnell  has been seen in movies like A League of Their Own and Sleepless in Seattle, to name a few.

She was also a co-host on The View.
