As a former truck driver shot three times and stabbed twice, LaPorte has literally been beaten into a comic.
Rocky LaPorte got his start by winning some local comedy competitons, then going on to win The Johnnie Walker National Comedy Competiton beating out over 1100 contestants in 10 cities!
He has been seen on television shows like Cheers,Comic Strip Live, a C.B.S Pilot titled "The Rocky Laporte Show" and his own half hour special on Comedy Central.
