Robin Williams is an Academy Award-winning American actor and comedian.

He first achieved notice for his stand-up by performing for tips and working clubs like the Purple Onion. Williams got his big break when he was cast as the alien Mork in a guest star part in the TV series Happy Days.The appearance was so popular that it led to a spin-off hit television series, Mork and Mindy.

Williams' acting career has been in film, his first starring roles, Popeye and The World According to Garp, were flops, but Good Morning, Vietnam helped Williams establish a screen identity. In addition to acting, Williams helps establish the star power in voice in the animated films Aladdin and Robots.
