Martin Mull started his career as a stand up comedian and then got into acting.  He got his big break as a guest on the late night show "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman."  Following the show, he earned the emcee position on the comedy shows "Fernwood 2-Night" and "America 2-night." 

Some of his televisions appearances have been on "Roseanne," "The Simpsons," "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," and "The Ellen Show."  He has also appeared in a number of films.  Some of his film appearances include "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Clue," "Mr.Mom" and "My Bodyguard."
