Mark Curry is an American actor and comedian, best known as the star of the television show "Hangin with Mr. Cooper."

He has also worked on "The Drew Carey Show," "The Jamie Foxx Show," and hosted "Showtime at the Apollo" for a brief time.  He has also starred in his own half-hour HBO special; opened for Whitney Houston at the 1991 Super Bowl pre-game concert and has toured with Damon Wayans.

In 1987, Curry made his comedic debut in Oakland eventually becoming the city's most sought after stand-up comedian. His tremendous success in Oakland eventually led to comedy club bookings throughout the country and all over the world.
