Margaret Smith is a witty comedian who was discovered in New York by one of David Letterman's talent scouts and was invited to make her first appearance on national television.

Since then, she has made numerous television appearances on Comedy Central, Fox, HBO, Showtime, CNN, and is a regular guest on the Tonight Show and Conan O'Brien.

Margaret Smith was nominated The Best Female Standup Comic in 1994 and in 1996, The American Comedy Awards presented her with the Funniest Female Stand Up Comic award.

Margaret Smith has toured live throughout the country and internationally including Montreal, Queens Theater, London, Australia, and Amsterdam. Smith just recorded her first live CD, "As It Should Be" and was most recently seen as a regular on Fox's "That 80's Show."
