Lori Chase started her career as an actress in musicals, after having received an award from her idol Lucille Ball at Northwestern University. After an extensive career working in the theatre both in Chicago and New York, Lori realized that what she really always wanted to do is stand-up. For 1 1/2 years, she hid out at her home club, NYC's Boston Comedy Club, where she performed practically every night, bombing her way forward to developing an act.
She met Danny McDermott of the Comedy Soapbox, and began an affiliation that has included 2 comedy contests, performing as a "top 8" finalist in both. Lori has just returned from a summer in San Francisco, where she made her professional debut, performing at clubs like Punchline's, Rooster's, and the San Jose Improv. On the road, she has performed at Hilarities and Tangiers in Cleveland as well as The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC.
