Laura Kightlinger has hosted Stand-Up Stand-Up on Comedy Central and worked as a writer and consulting producer on Will & Grace. Kightlinger also had a recurring guest role on the series as Sheila, a fertility clinic nurse. Kightlinger has also been cast on the HBO series "Lucky Louie."

Kightlinger has also been a writer for MTV's animated series "Daria" and for Saturday Night Live's 20th season, where she also appeared as various characters in sketches.

Kightlinger released a book in 1999 called "Quick Shots of False Hope," which is a collection of short, autobiographical stories.
