Kathy Buckley is an American comedian.  What makes her different from the rest, is that she is hearing impaired. 

At the 1994 American Comedy Awards, she was honored with the nomination of "Best Female Stand-Up Comedian."  She got her start in comedy, in 1988 where she took fourth place in a comedy contest.  After the contest, she began touring the country, performing in major comedy venues.

She has performed in Catch a Rising Star (Las Vegas, Reno), The Improv (West Hollywood), The Ice House (Pasadena), The Comedy Store (Hollywood), and many others.

She has also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, CNN Showbiz Today, Geraldo, Stand-Up Spotlight, Comic Strip Live, Evening at the Improv and Caroline's Comedy Hour.
