John Henson is a stand-up comedian and former television host.

He is best known as the former host, writer, and co-executive producer of the Emmy winning show "Talk Soup."  He began his professional career as a stand-up comic.  He has appeared in movies, television, and stage.  His television credits include "The View," "Politically Incorrect," "Two Drink Minimum," and "Stand Up, Stand Up." 

He also starred in his own ABC Primetime Network Special, "The Television Show with John Henson." He has also starred in various theatre productions such as "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead," "Conduct Unbecoming," "Heinous Crimes and Other Delights," "The Greenhouse Effect" and "Remote Evolution."

Originally from Connecticut and now living in Los Angeles, Henson is currently writing a screenplay in collaboration with Kevin Nealon on a project for Adam Sandler and Revolution Studios.
