Jann Karam is a stand up-comedian. She started stand-up while attending Arizona State University. She would go to a Mexican restaurant during open mike nights and perform her routine.
After graduating, she moved to Chicago where she studied at Second City and performed in local comedy clubs. Several months later, Jann moved to New York City and became a regular performer at "Catch A Rising Star".
Her popularity grew and her next move was to Los Angeles where she became a regular and a crowd favorite at the Improv in Hollywood. In the autumn of her first year in southern California, Jann was named first runner-up in the "San Diego Laugh Off".
Shortly thereafter, she was selected as the only woman to appear in "The Thirteenth Annual Young Comedian's Show" hosted by Dennis Miller. Since then, her long list of TV credits has grown to include "Seinfeld", "Politically Incorrect", "Dr. Katz", and more.
