Howie Mandel's first step towards fame began as a stand-up comedian. It all started with a dare from friends to perform on amateur night at the legendary Comedy Store. He was hired on the spot by a producer in the crowd for the comedy game show, "Make Me Laugh".
Soon after, Howie appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson". His stardom grew with his role on the multi-Emmy Award-winning medical drama, "St. Elsewhere".
Howie Mandel also starred, wrote and produced in the hit animated series "Bobby's World".
He provided the voice of Bobby, Bobby's dad and other characters. "Bobby's World " was the first animated series for the Fox Kids Network and the show has acquired many Emmy Award nominations.
Howie created a series of interactive animated CD-ROMs to educated children while also entertaining them. The CD-ROMs were an instant success and they won 36 awards and became critically acclaimed worldwide.
Howie Mandel has performed at major venues across the country that include Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall and Caesar's Palace.
