Harry Anderson is a well known magician and actor. Before becoming an actor, Anderson was a magician in Rhode Island. Harry became famous for his role on the television series "Night Court." He has also appeared on Saturday Night Live eight times, had a guest role on the sitcom "Cheers", and performed several magic/comedy shows for broadcast.
In the 1990's, Anderson got back into television by starring in the sitcom "Dave's World." Also in the 1990's, he wrote a book titled, "Games You Can't Lose: A Guide for Suckers."
In 2005, Anderson and his wife opened a nightclub in the French Quarter of New Orleans and also own a small shop there. After Hurricane Katrina, Anderson and his wife sold their New Orleans home and moved to Asheville, North Carolina where they currently reside.
