Ellen Cleghorne is a bright innovative sketch player.
Ellen first established her talents in New York City comedy clubs. In 1991, she began a four-year stint on Saturday Night Live (SNL). Ellen portrayed characters such as; Zoraida and Queen Shaniqua, as well as her impersonations of Anita Hill, Whoopi Goldberg, and singer Natalie Cole. She went on to win an Emmy Award.
In 1995, she left SNL to star in Cleghorne!, a sitcom that aired for only one season on the WB.
Recently, Cleghorne has had a number of skits aired on XM radio's channel 150 which features uncensored comedy.
