David Brenner began his career in 1971 making people laugh and has had a remarkable career. He started with a National TV appearance on The Tonight Show. He is the most frequent talk show guest of any entertainer, as confirmed in "The Book of List #2."
Today, he is a regular on David Letterman and, because his act is based on "very" current events and he is recognized as a political pundit, also on news oriented shows, like MSNBC with Chris Matthews and other shows on CNN and The Fox Network.
He has done four HBO Specials , including his most recent, "David Brenner: Back With A Vengeance". The show was one of HBO's highest rated specials.
He had a successful career as the writer, producer, and director of 115 television documentaries and headed the distinguished documentary departments of both Westinghouse Broadcasting and Metro-Media Broadcasting. Brenner's documentary work earned him a total of nearly thirty awards including an Emmy.
