Danielle Koenig started honing her comedy chops as a member of the ACME Comedy Theatre, one of the city's longest running and most respected sketch groups. Stand-up was a natural progression for someone with her comedic timing and interesting take on material, ranging from the topical to being raised by "theater people."
She was a semifinalist in Comedy Central's 1999 nationwide comedy competition and in 2001, appeared on NBC's "Late Friday" and was a "new face" at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. More recently, Danielle has appeared on GSN's "National Lampoon's Funny Money," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," and AMC's "Movies at Our House." Danielle has written for "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn," US Weekly's "Fashion Police," Nickelodeon's cult hit animated series, "Invader Zim," and Fox's highly-rated 2004 reality hit, "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance."
