Dana Carvey began his career by performing stand-up comedy in San Fransisco area. 

Dana has played several roles on the big screen in the movies "Racing with the Moon", "It's A Spinal Tap", and "Tough Guys". Dana first staring role was in the movie "Opportunity Knocks" as well as many others. 

Dana's big break came when he had the opportunity of being on the cast of SNL. The choices came down to him and Jim Carrey.
