D.C. Benny has become one of the best known stand-up comics in New York.

His act is a mixture of stories, characters, and improvisation that cracks people up. He is a regular performer at The Comic Strip, The Comedy Cellar, The Nuyorican, and The Boston Comedy Club. He has opened for Bernie Mac, Margaret Cho, Jeff Foxworthy, and The Fugees.

He has been seen on "Showtime at the Apollo," "Friday Night Videos,"  "Comedy Central's Premium Blend," and the "Chris Rock Show." He has also appeared on "Law and Order," "Now and Again," "The Cosby Show," and the upcoming film "Five Nights In Brooklyn."

He has also written for the MTV music video awards and the Latino animated series, "La Familia."
