As a founding member and contributing editor of  National Lampoon, Rush helped set a standard for American humor in the early 1970's.

Rush's manic, free-associating humor - sort of like Lord Buckley on speed and pizza - was happy grist for the thinking hippie where he started in comedy in the early 70's.

Chris Rush went on to make comedy albums: "First Rush" and "There's No Bones in Ice Cream".

Rush is currently working on a one-man show for HBO.
