Bobcat Goldthwait began his standup career while attending Bishop Grimes High School at 15. He also played in night clubs at that age.
At 18, Goldthwait founded a comedy group called "The Generic Comics" with his best friend. At the age of 19, he made his first appearence on "Late Night With David Letterman". He was only 22 in 1985 & was booked on a comedy showcase night for Whoopi Goldberg which won him a role in the film "Police Academy 2".
His other film credits include "Destiny Turns On The Radio", "Sweethearts", & more. He directed cult classic film "Shakes the Clown" in 1991.
