Bob Saget began his career writing and performing stand-up comedy. He has toured with many top musical acts, playing such venues as Carnegie Hall and the main showrooms in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City.
However, Saget, a Jewish speaker, is most remembered for his role on the sitcom "Full House".
In 1989, Saget set a precedent as the first person to simultaneously star in two prime-time series: on "Full House" and as the host of America's Funniest Home Videos.
Most recently, Saget appeared as himself on HBO's "Entourage".
