Becky Donohue hosted her own weekly show at the Stress Factory Comedy Club. Rutgers University is where Becky first took the comedy stage by winning an amateur comedy contest. Her big victory sealed her fate forever and enabled her to open up for such greats as Bob Nelson, Judy Gold, Angel Salazar and Janeane Garofalo. Then it was off to Manhattan to make a name for herself by performing in every venue possible. Her stops included The Comic Strip, Caroline's, the famed Luna Lounge and sometimes even the subway.
She is definitely a character. Her act covers everything from the subtleties of everyday life to a full on assault of politics and culture. She has made numerous appearances during the Toyota Comedy Festival and can be seen weekly at the Boston Comedy Club, where she hosts her own new talent night. She appeared on ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Dateline, where she appeared in a segment about honest people.
