In July of 2005, Andy Campbell performed at the prestigious "Just for Laughs" Montreal Comedy Festival. He recently taped an appearance for "Comcast Comedy Spotlight" in Boston. Andy is also a featured host on two current shows: "Talk Show TV" on the Comcast Network, and the youth-oriented educational series, "Standard Devients," which airs nationally on PBS.
Andy was recently cast as one of the hosts for an ESPN Pilot, and has appeared on the "The X Show" on FX Network. Barely two years into his career in 1999, Andy won the mid-Atlantic finals for the Aspen Comedy Arts Festival in Washington, DC. Andy's commanding stage presence, charisma, infectious energy, and spontaneous wit have made him a regular on stages of New York City's top comedy clubs and a favorite headliner at dozens of venues nationwide.
For over four years, he was a regularly featured comedic commentator on Washington, DC's National Public Radio affiliate. He was also once a contributing writer for the nationally touring comedy troupe, the Capitol Steps. He holds a degree in broadcast communications and theater from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, and has trained in Los Angeles with the Second City improvisation program.
