Alonzo Bodden has appeared on TV's Last Comic Standing, Late Night With Conan O' Brien, Make Me Laugh, Friday Night Videos, Thirty-Something, Power Rangers, The Craig Kilbourne Show, The Apollo. Alonzo was the first comedian invited to appear on The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show and has appeared on many other comedy shows. He's also got an acting career with roles in Bringin Down The House, The Girl Next Door, Angel, Grounded For Life, and Profiler among others.
In autumn of 2004, Bodden won the title in the
reality-television series Last Comic Standing's third season after being the
runner-up in season two earlier that year.
Alonzo was not always a comic. He was as a jet mechanic at Lockheed then McDonnell Douglas, for a total of nine years. His first assignment was the, former "Top Secret", Stealth Fighter. After a three year lay-off, Bodden returned to find his co-workers sporting Stealth Fighter T-shirts. So much for "Top Secret". Alonzo swears he didn't leak the secret.
Spending four months in Puerto Rico rebuilding a DC-IO Alonzo and his crew were homesick and were ready to go home so they sealed up the nose-cone with duct tape and flew home. Bodden, says, "that's why airlines don't give reasons for flight delays, you don't want to know some of the things we do".
