Alex Ortiz is considered "The Champion of Comedians".  He won Showtime at the Apollo "TKO Comedy Champion of 2002."

Ortiz has toured the world and has spread laughter in Japan, Italy, Spain, England, and Bosnia.  He has been in two Wrigley's and two MGD television commercials that are currently airing.

Ortiz is one of the hottest and most sought after comedians touring today, and has both headlined and featured at The Apollo, Funny Bones, and The Improv.  He has taken the stage as an opener for Bernie Mac, Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, Bobcat Goldthwaite and Michael Winslow.

Ortiz is a founding member and writer of the Forgotten City Comedy Troupe, the hottest urban sketch group in the country. He does everything from impressions to dialects to cartoon character voices and of course is bilingual. Ortiz also writes and sings song parodies like those of rival Weird Al Yankovic.
