Aisha Tyler toured the country pursing a comedy career. She eventually moved to Los Angeles and in 2001 her career in television took off. Aisha was the host of "Talk Soup" on E! Television and the reality dating series "The Fifth Wheel".
She received an NAACP Image Award for her role in the play "Moose Mating". Aisha also wrote, directed, and starred in the independent short film "The Whipper".
Her face has graced the popular television series "Friends" during its final two seasons. Aisha also had a recurring role on "CSI" and "Ghost Whisperer".
She is as a regular contributor to "Glamour" and "Jane" magazines. She released her first book, "Swerve: A Guide to the Sweet Life for Postmodern Girls" in 2004.
Aisha is also a talented poker player and has appeared on the World Poker Tour in the Hollywood Home games for the Childhelp USA charity.
