Tim Sample's career got started in 1979 when his first album of humor was produced.  He has since sold well over a million copies of his books, albums, and videos.  His two best selling books were "How to Talk Yankee" and "Saturday Night at Moody's Diner." 

In 1993, Tim was recruited as a correspondent for the Emmy Award winning TV show CBS News Sunday Morning.  For the next eleven years, he would produce over 100 "Postcards from Maine" segments which introduced viewers to the lifestyle in Maine.
