Kevin Meany is an American stand up comedian, and has been for over 25 years.
His stand up career started in San Francisco and later moved to Boston. He got his big break in 1986 with his first HBO special which sent him to the top of the comedy scene. He made his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1987 and went on to appear on the show over a dozen times. He has also been a guest on Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, Oprah, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Kevin is also an accomplished actor, having starred in the CBS sitcom, "Uncle Buck" which ran for a full season. In addition, he has done numerous guest appearances on both sitcoms and dramas. He is also a successful writer and producer. He wrote and produced and starred in a one-man autobiographical play titled, Wedding Vows in Vegas.
Meany is known for his caricatures of nightclub singers and his signature "man on the street interviews" for which he won an Emmy Award. He currently lives in New York with his wife Mary Ann and their daughter.
