By the age of 4, Karith Foster knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life. "I distinctly remember watching Sesame Street and thinking, 'I should be doing that!'" Though she never got to fulfill her dream of sitting on a fake brick wall shooting the sh*t with multi-colored Muppets, today she is fulfilling her dream of entertaining audiences around the world in the hopes of leaving them with a universal message or two "like we really are all the same underneath but sometimes one of these things is not like the other; and not only is it okay to acknowledge, but a must, to make fun of. Because ALL is fair in love and comedy.

Raised in Plano, Texas (the affluent suburb north of Dallas with the ethnic diversity of a Klan rally) Karith indulged her performing bug by starring in her high school's ALL WHITE production of  "A Raisin in the Sun." She currently resides in New York City where everyday she learns something new like... just because she blends into her Harlem neighborhood it is not cool to walk into a bodega (a little Spanish grocery store) and say "Que pasa y'all?!!" Since her stint in NYC, she's been nicknamed 'Princess' by several friends and acquaintances who are convinced she's actually a Jewish girl from Long Island trapped in that body "which would technically make her a JA-AP (Jewish African-American Princess). So in her case it's not "talk to the hand", but "talk to the manicure." And although she may never have cooked a full meal in her life, she knows how to use a Zagats Restaurant Guide like nobody's business.

Karith performs weekly at a variety of NYC comedy clubs including The Boston Comedy Club, The Comic Strip, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and Stand-up New York Comedy Club...just check her schedule to see when and where she's going up or to see if she'll be in a town near you.
