I'm originally from Spartanburg, SC. Up there in the foothills, y'all. I realized when I was very young that the only thing I was any good at was making people laugh. And picking dandelions in right field. I did a lot of theatre in middle school and high school, and then when I got to college I made it into the improv group on campus. After I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in English, I realized that I had a useless degree and was completey unable to contribute to society, so I moved to Chicago to become a standup comedian instead. I also write plays. I also used to be a drummer for a touring ska band called Capital R. We were prettying rocking, for a ska band anyway. We played with some of my idols, including Less Than Jake and Catch 22. We even got to play at the legendary CBGB in New York City.
