A Bay Area original, Geoff Bolt is renowned as an inspired improviser in the world of sketch comedy.  Geoff got his start in the comedy world as a founding member of the critically acclaimed National Theatre of the Deranged, which performed in San Francisco during the 1980s. But it was on a dare from a fan that actually motivated Geoff to develop his stand-up set, which he debuted to rave reviews at San Francisco's Other Cafe comedy club in 1985.

Since then Geoff has continued performing regularly to dedicated fans at a wide variety of comedy clubs. He has appeared in many feature films (including Mrs.
Doubtfire, Ed TV, and 9 Months) was featured in HBO's Young Comedian's Special, Showtime's Comedy Channel, A&E's Evening at the Improv, and KQED's Comedy Tonight. He has also participated in several plays at the San Francisco Fringe Festival and has done hundreds of voice-overs for radio, television, video games as well as award-winning commercials. Geoff appears regularly on NPR's West Coast Live as half of the comedy team of Karl and Carl, who offer their unconventional Tips on Travel.

Geoff probably is most recognized from the long-running Toyota commercials where he plays football Hall of Famer, Steve Young's sidekick and buddy. His other current projects include his hilarious Lederhosen Speaks podcasts on iTunes in which he plays the befuddled Dr. Mutti Lederhosen, and the recent launch of the Tips on Travel Web site and travel blog with Karl & Carl.
