Debbie Shea, originally from the Boston area, currently lives and performs stand up in New York. She's a regular at The Comic Strip. Debbie was first runner up in Comedy Central's Laugh Riots Competition. Comedy Festivals include The Aspen, Boston, and Howl Festival where she was a reader. She made her television debut on Comedy Central's Premium Blend.
As an actress, she most recently played the wife of a neurotic man in Joe Rosenthal's short film, "Crosswords", which was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival. Other roles include a lesbian in "Maybe Tomorrow" at the Strawberry One Act Festival, a nurse in The Grudge Match, a bulimic germaphobe in "Bathroom Confessions", and an English woman in "It's a Detective Agency" which was part of the New York Fringe Festival.
