In 1989, Caroline Rhea ventured to New York to study stand-up comedy.
She participated in the stand-up program at the New School of Social Research, but her ultimate training came from the comedy club, Catch a Rising Star. She had nightly gigs at New York's venerable clubs, and she quickly became part of the city's competitive comedy scene.
She has appeared many times on "MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour", Comic Strip Live and Caroline's Comedy Hour. She later moved to Los Angeles to star in movies with Hollywood heavyweights like Jeremy Piven, Jim Carrey, and Oliver Platt.
On the small screen Rhea can be seen playing Aunt Hilda on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch", she is also a regular on Hollywood Squares and continues to perform to sold-out audiences in top comedy clubs nationally.
